About AirportFareGuide

AirportFareGuide helps travellers estimate airport taxi costs and understand what can change the final price. It is a planning website, not a taxi operator, booking service, airport authority or price guarantee.

Why the site exists

A clearer starting point before an airport journey

Airport transport prices are often difficult to compare because a meter, route distance, terminal access charge, toll, waiting time or operator rule can change the amount. AirportFareGuide brings the main planning inputs together so a traveller can build a realistic budget and know what still needs a live check.

The calculator combines airport reference data with route distance and selected extras. Route guides add context where an official fare, pickup rule or transport alternative needs a fuller explanation.

How information is prepared

The editorial process is designed to make useful limits as visible as useful numbers.

Start with the traveller's decision

A page should help with a real budget, route or airport-transport choice. Search volume alone is not a reason to publish it.

Prefer primary sources

Airport operators, transport authorities and government sources are preferred for prices, access rules and other changeable details.

Explain uncertainty

Typical ranges, starting prices and calculated estimates are labelled for what they are. They are not presented as guaranteed fares.

Review and correct

Changeable claims should carry a checked or reviewed date. Correction reports are used to prioritise updates.

A note from Usman Khan

Hello, I am Usman Khan. I oversee AirportFareGuide's content, calculator maintenance and publishing standards.

I created this website to give travellers a clearer starting point when airport transport prices, fees and pickup rules are spread across different sources. My role is to organise that information into practical planning guidance while keeping estimates, assumptions and limitations visible.

Source research Calculator maintenance Editorial review

This introduction identifies editorial responsibility. It does not claim personal testing of a journey unless a page clearly documents a genuine first-hand experience.

What the site does

  • Provides planning estimates with visible inputs and limitations
  • Explains airport routes using relevant official sources
  • Offers practical tools for transport, parking and packing decisions
  • Accepts correction reports for outdated or unclear information

What the site does not do

  • Book taxis, take payments or dispatch drivers
  • Replace a meter, operator quote or airport instruction
  • Present guessed local details or invented personal experience as fact
  • Allow advertising or commercial links to redefine the editorial answer
Sources and corrections

Check the method or report a problem

Include the page URL, airport code, the detail that appears wrong and an official source link when possible. That gives the editorial team enough information to review the issue.
